10 Months

Can it be true that in just a month my baby boy will be a one year old?? The time needs to seriously slow down. Like every month Kendall has been a busy boy. Getting into anything and everything he can find. I love how he’s curious about the world around him, but it keeps me on my toes. This month has been a busy one for us in getting ready for our trip back to Texas. Kendall wasn’t sure about all the bags we had out for us to pack, but he sure did love taking everything we put in them out. Kendall did awesome on the long flight home. He slept most of the way from Oman to Germany since that was a very late flight. We had about a four hour layover in Germany, so we were able to get showers, a little bit of food, and let Kendall roam around a little. The flight from Germany to DFW wasn’t full, so we were able to spread out a little and give Kendall some room to play. Bubba and I are so proud of how great he did. The time difference has been the biggest challenge. Not only have we been fighting the jet lag but also the time change this past weekend. Kendall is slowly getting back on schedule. I know he will be right on track by Dec. 14th. Then on top of all that he is cutting his second top tooth. He has been such a trooper. The funniest thing is when we got to the house that first night, we set Kendall on the carpet. He wasn’t sure about that. He would kind of pet it and try and figure out what it is and then would crawl to the tile in the kitchen. I guess he is so use to the tile in our house in Oman that he wasn’t sure about the carpet. I think he is starting to be a little more comfortable with it and is learning he can get better traction when he takes off crawling. The month or two a head for us is going to be so much fun. Bubba and I can’t wait to see how much Kendall will change as he gets closer to his 1st birthday. What makes it even better is that we will get to spend that time with family and friends.

It's crazy how much he's changed. He's starting to look more and more like a little boy.
