I'm not sure if it has made the news in the States or not, but there have been a few protest here in Oman. They are in smaller towns and are several miles away. I just want to let everyone know that we are safe and that there have not been any protesting here in the capital city at this time. Bubba and I will keep you up to date if that changes or if we feel like we are no longer safe over here. If that does happen believe me when I say that we will be out the door and back home quicker then you can blink. Please keep us and all expats in your prayers during this crazy time.

A little update....
The past week has been a little stressful. One of the VPs in Houston came to Oman to check up on the different contracts going on in the ALS division, and while here he and Bubba were able to talk a little about our return home. That was toward the end of the week, let me start at the beginning. A few weeks back they found a person to take Bubba's place. He had gone through a long interview process, and they finally decided to offer him the job. The beginning of this past week they started the paper work and will hopefully have a formal offer letter to Bubba's replacement in the next week or so. Now once he has the offer letter and all parties agree to everything, Bubba's replacement will have to give a 30 day notice to his current job. Bubba is hoping that during that time he will be able to train his replacement part time. Once those 30 days are up, Bubba will train his replacement for another 30 days full time. When it's all said and done we are looking at being home sometime in May - that is if everything goes smoothly (as all of you know nothing goes smoothly over here). I did tell Bubba that my deadline is May and after that me and Kendall are headed home and that we hope he can join us - hehehe. Now back to Bubba's talk with his VP....all through the week they had meetings with different clients. Little did Bubba know that Bobby (the VP) was using those times to see where Bubba would fit with Weatherford in the States. By the end of the week Bobby sat down with Bubba and talked about the week and that he has a better idea of when we are going to be back home. Bobby said that he now has a few ideas of where to place Bubba and that Bobby will let Bubba know by the end of this coming week. We don't have a clue what he will present or if we will have to move to Houston or if we will get to stay in Tyler (we are hoping to stay in Tyler, but up for anything as long as we are back in Texas). There is a little bit of progress – now it's going very slow, but at least we are going in the right direction. When we find out more I promise to let you know as soon as we do. Please keep us in your prayers that we get home very soon. Oman is a very safe country and we feel safe here, but with everything else going on around us we feel like it's beyond time for us get back to our family and friends. We love you all very very much!!!

Play time
Kendall is starting to get into things and starting to play more with his toys. It's so much fun to watch him pretend, read his books, torture the dogs, or laugh at something funny on a cartoon he is watching. It's crazy how one day he wasn't doing something and then the next day he a pro at that same task. I wanted to share some pics of him with some of his favorite toys. I know most of you have already seen these if you are on Facebook, but for those who aren't enjoy!!
I love the look on his face
Our version of a ball pit I think we need to get more balls for it
His blue car There is a button on top that he loves to push
Taking a break
Such a cutie If I say so myself
He loves to look through his books
Trying to decide which one to read next
He LOVES these cups He will throw them all around, then pick them up, and then put them back together again
Since we got Kendall's haircut shorter it gave us a few more options on how to style it. When we were home his Uncle Rob told us we needed to do the messy look since everyone does the comb to the side look for little boys. So we decided to go another route...the Mohawk. Unfortunately Kendall's hair grows fast and now it's too long on top to Mohawk it. I think either this weekend or next Bubba will take him over to get his hair cut and then you will be seeing more pics like these....
